Here are two more pictures. On the S12 forum they expand to a bit bigger than my monitor, 19", when opened but when I save them they don't work right and I'm not all computer savvy and stuff, sorry.

Cool. :)

I'll say it does look cool, I like that he used a Bulgy Krink kit to build it off but like Dan said, that must have taken a lot of time and work.

Has he given a range report yet for it?

I do love the flip-top dust cover with the night sights and it reminds me I need to get my M92 SBR kit built...

The mags don't like to feed it with sand and mud between the shells and body. I will be modifying a mag to do this next time on a decent video worth posting.

But my reliability work and a few other things I did or don't do as other do, allowed that gun to fire with the sand rocks and mud in it.

Once the gun dried and the shit started to full off, I had a pile of small stones and sand on my floor.

I actually hit that gun with the shovel while scooping the mud, sand and rocks. Lost my fu*king laser too.

As a witness to this event, I can honestly vouch for everything above. 8-)

We were going to throw my SG556 in the muddy water too but I decided against that.

Ok, picked this up from DocHoliday on the "other site". Winchester Defender 1300 riot shotgun with 18.5" barrel with 7+1 capacity 2 3/4 or 3" shells, cylinder bore (no choke). Tru-Glo Hi-Viz fiber optic sight (retains the bead sight as well). Very lightweight with the aluminum receiver (the bolt mates directly to the barrel so no need for steel receiver like on other shotty's).

Put 75 rds thru it last weekend and it is a keeper. Fastest pump shotgun I have ever shot! The 3" 00-buck magnum loads are a bit harsh though. I am getting a knox comp stock for it (the m4 style with adjustable stock and the recoil reducing system). Just ordered a tac-star side saddle for it to add 6 additional rounds in easy access.

I am now ready to tackle any zombie hordes that might wander into my neighborhood! or that darn easter bunny if he takes a dump in my yard!!!!

I have a 1300 too and really like it. Make sure when you strip it and put it back together that the barrel is 100 seated! If not you will have failure to fire because the firing pin won't be able to hit the primer. My father put my gun back together one time and the barrel wasn't seated quite 100%. Luckily I didn't need to use it inbetween that time and when I decided to shoot it next.

yeah i think she is a keeper.

I got a real good deal on her, I traded my G19 2nd gen 2 pin that was fresh back from glock getting refinished and refurbed, and he traded me the 1300 defender lots of ammo and a nice chunk of cash (not gonna go into specifics just in case I decide to sell this gun).

anyway, had planned on flipping it on gunbroker, but after taking it to the range I knew she was a keeper. the knoxx comp stock will just make it even more managable with teh heavy 3" mag loads. I am gonna put a strap on the forend (like on the mossy cruisers) so that it can be picked up by the strap or a good handhold if my left hand become imobilized.

anyway, looking into light mounts for this gun and would really like something that is forend mounted (i have read too many reviews where tube mounted light mounts tend to slip. anyone got any ideas?

Where did you get that safety? Are you able to operate it with only the index finger?

If you look close at very few of mine you may see a couple. I make them on occasion. I'd offer to mod yours but that color on your gun could not be matched very well.

Hmm...I never noticed any on your builds for some reason. What I'd really like is a selector stop on the safety. Mine will overtravel too far up and then its a PIA to get back down. I tried bending the receiver cover slightly in to hit it which worked ok but I was scratching the finish so I quit messing around with it.

sure it will shoot cheap wally world shot but it needs either 23/4" slugs or 3" 00buck to cycle, and yes I can engage and disengage the safety with the index finger.
