The first two I got worked perfect (still have them) The 10 or 12 after that have all needed work. I have cut two and shot two.

I will be trying SFGM next. I have a had a couple and I like the 12s when the body is cut to 10 and leave the spring 12.

I don't put as many rounds through mine as you do but so far I haven't had any problems with the 3 i've got. Before I leave though I always shoot them with some silicone spray just to keep the followers sliding smoothly. And I did have to do some work to those 3 to get them to feed smoothly. I think I'm going to hold off on any of the current mags and either buy the 8 rd. metal mags from chaos? when/if they ever come out, same with the double stack mags from MD Arms. I guess we will see.

I can't wait to see the doubles. I havn't seen the metal ones yet, I don't get out much.
Yes I was spaying them at first but when I train they would collect dirt faster.
I am gunna go with SFGM because or the internal design (more forgiving to grit) and the integral feed lips won't pop off when drop etc.
I will have to use the Prom one more time for comp and twice for training.
Gets ya used to clearing malfunctions.

This is the Super 90 I run when shooting Open at 3 Gun matches.

It has served me well for many years.

Speedloaders and barrel porting figure in to the set up. The Dot of course manages to put it in open class by itself.

I forgot about porting cause I think thats a stupid rule. I did not know bout the speed loaders placing it in open.

IPSC doesn't disallow them in stock AFAIK but some of the other groups I shoot with howl like a squashed cat if you pull them out and try to use them as a "duty" gun" They don't t say much about the ports in those groups but the dot gets them wound up to.!! ;) And they HATE 2" shells.

I agree some of the rules are crazy like when I was told I couldn't shoot Major 38 Specials because of the new IPSC rules. I was the Oklahoma SC for over ten years and let them know my displeasure about it and the stupidity of it when they were allowing Major 9's to play!! The rule got changed about two years into it but I had my 38 JLE cases made up from 357 so the rule never impacted me much at all.
